You know how important your data is to your organisation so you protect it. Whether your tapes are in a fire-proof safe or whether you use a 3rd party to keep those tapes for you, you feel sure that should you need them, they are available and ready to go. But let’s say you experience an outage or, worse still, a total disaster. You will have your data but potentially nothing to restore it on….and that’s where our mobile Ship-to-Site service comes in.

In the past, organisations used to buy doubles of some hardware so that they had some redundancy but in this day and age unnecessary capital costs are nonsense.

Replacement Hardware

We can provide you with replacement hardware, any platform, any vendor, including networking equipment anywhere in the UK or Mainland Europe in the event that you are unable to use your own, for whatever reason, for up to 16 weeks.

Invocations

We don’t charge for invocations, we don’t put a limit on the number of times you can call us for help and we don’t insist that you invoke your maintenance contract first. More than that, you can call on the service whenever you need, even put us on standby if you feel you may need to invoke, all free of charge once you have paid your yearly fee. And what’s more, you will receive that hardware within a guaranteed delivery time. Oh, and to make your recovery easier we even allow you to buy our equipment from us.

Guaranteed time to site

We don’t work on response times, as that just means we would endeavour to have your kit on the road within a certain time. You can’t build your recovery plans around something like that but you can around a guaranteed time to site. Most of our invocations can be solved within your server room or your alternative site but if for any reason it becomes unavailable to you, we can provide you with mobile server rooms and offices for up to 10 people.

Skilled Recovery Specialists

Fundamental to an effective restore is that our skilled Recovery Specialists will accompany that hardware and arrive when your equipment does. They will provide you with as much or as little support as you want them to and they will stay with you until the end, providing the extra peace of mind that you need on such occasions. Within 6 weeks of the beginning of your contract we will set up a solution-design workshop with your Client Manager, our Head of Solutions and your techies to discuss the intricacies of your infrastructure. This means that in the event of an invocation, or at your inclusive yearly rehearsal at your chosen location, we understand your actual requirements (rather than those we are simply contracted to) from the outset. 24x7x365

You may be asking how we can ensure that your required kit will be available on New Year’s Day at 3am? Well…..firstly our operations are 24 x 7 x 365 and we are as ready then as in the middle of the day in the working week. Flexible Contracts

As your hardware is updated often, we feel that it’s important to make our contracts as flexible as possible. You will have regular meetings with your Client Manager so that we are all confident that your infrastructure needs are fully covered but if you do need to invoke a replacement for a piece of equipment that isn’t currently on contract, we won’t refuse. We will always use our best endeavours to give you what you need from our non-syndicated stock and then deal with any financials afterwards.
