Each time a Laptop is connected to an internet connection, the Laptops automatically backs up its data to a secure vault. Should the data be lost or become corrupt, a simple restore command recovers the laptop to its original state (as per the last backup).
Should the laptop fail or be lost, then the data is restored to an emergency replacement laptop held by Adam Continuity in the UK. A fully configured and pre-imaged ready to use laptop of an equal or greater specification can be dispatched within 4 hours. You have the option of having your data restored in full or as an encrypted package onto the hard drive. When the courier delivers the replacement device, wherever they may be in the world, you call for the decryption key. You are then able to use the laptop for 2 weeks free of charge whilst you organize your own replacement or purchase ours.
CompuTrace Complete ensures that in the event of theft, the Data Delete functionality can be activated to make the device unusable. For institutional and corporate customers, the customer’s Information Security department would be given the option of not making this known to the end-user. CompuTrace also allows us to work with local authorities to recover stolen pieces of hardware.
