BUSINESSES BOOMING FOR NEW COMPANY IN WALES
Companies in Wales are taking their security seriously, according to Adam Continuity, a leading provider of business continuity, data resilience and disaster recovery services for local government and commercial organisations.
Since the official opening of its office at Ystrad Mynach, Mid Glamorgan, in January this year, the company remains the only office recovery centre in the country. Companies attending the open day included IT leaders from public and private sector organisations.
Shortly after the launch, Barry Warren, responsible for Adam Continuity’s client liaison, support and sales throughout Wales and South West England, signed up Vector International (Port Talbot), which manufacturespiping, vessel and pressure containment for the oil and gas, nuclear, processing, chemical, mining and aerospace industries.
Linc Cymru Housing Association has now joined the growing client base at Adam Continuity, with a contract to provide critical IT support in the event of a disaster. Linc Cymru offers high quality affordable homes and services across South Wales to rent or buy.
Adam has also just signed a council, in Gloucestershire. Managing Director of Adam Continuity, Philip Caulfield says: “Until recently, government bodies, financial organisations and other offices in Wales and the West have had to relocate to centres in Bristol or Birmingham in the event of a disaster. Clearly, this is inconvenient and time-consuming to employers, employees, customers and clients.
“The new facility in Wales offers desks, computers and telephones for their staff, who can simply move in and be up and running – closer to home – in the space of a few hours.”
