Unlike some our industry colleagues who prefer to wait until you have an order to place we are quite happy to give you the benefit of our knowledge and experience at the start of your process when you perhaps need it most.

Business Impact Analysis

Generally, if you are buying a Disaster Recovery solution we will need to know if you have conducted a Business Impact Analysis as this is likely to have identified a suitable in-house recovery location and the critical applications and data you need to protect. However, if you haven’t done this work don’t worry as we can help you make reasonably accurate estimates. This will allow you to at least have budgetary pricing.

At this stage we will also ask you how quickly your business needs to recover and how much support from our Recovery Specialists you may need.

We also think you should be as imaginative as possible when you are considering where you will rebuild your IT infrastructure if you should suffer a disaster. Occasionally it is all too easy to pay for Recovery Locations at third party sites when you already have a suitable location within your own buildings portfolio. If you would like help with this please give us a call.

If you are looking for a solution involving back up or replication of data we will need to know a bit more about your IT environment and what you are trying to achieve. The questions we ask you are not intrusive and the information is normally fairly easy to gather.
